Crescent Yagona Dish

This was originally used as a sacred yagona dish. It was used by Priests to drink yagona in ceremonies and rituals. Temple Priests were unable to touch the vessel and so had to lie prostrate before it in order to sip it through a reed straw. This piece has intricate original carving patterns engraved
